Zedd Drops New Video: Watch Here

Zedd’s latest summer hit “Happy Now” officially has a music video. When “Happy Now” was released back in July, Zedd revealed it as one of the more organic sounding songs he’s created in a long time. It was co-written by Noonie Bao and Sarah Aarons while the 28-year-old produced the tune himself.

The song’s upbeat rhythm and bright, bouncing synth melodies counterbalances what is at its core a bitter tale of love lost. The video shows two rich, good-looking couples swim and dance in a very auspicious, modern desert home. Tensions rise as one woman finds her lover in the arms of another, a move that ultimately comes with deadly consequences.

The collaboration follows his smash hit, “The Middle,” featuring Maren Morris which continues to receive praise from all genres. Zedd will continue his Las Vegas residency at the Omnia Nightclub through 2020.
