Niall Horan Breaks Ground for One Direction
It looks like Niall Horan will become the first member of One Direction to release a second solo album.
On Twitter, Niall wrote, “Earlier this year, I had the honour of recording some tracks from [my album] Flicker with a 45-piece orchestra in Dublin. I’m delighted to announce the release of Flicker feat. The RT Concert Orchestra on 7th December.”
He added that the album will be available on CD in all record stores in his home country of Ireland, and on his website, NiallHoran.com.
Niall’s debut solo album Flicker came out in 2017 and hit No. 1 on the chart. While speaking on George Ezra’s podcast, Niall revealed that he’s hoping to channel the “funky sexiness” of his hit song “Slow Hands.” “That’s what I’ll aim for next time, not so much electric but that bit of dirt; yeah, dirt is the word,” Niall shared. He also shared that he’s looking to Coldplay for some inspiration with the record too.
