Grow-op busted near Vernon school

VERNON, B.C. — Plenty of police activity last night near Vernon Secondary School.
Vernon RCMP executed a search warrant on a residence in the 24-hundred block of 15th Street.
Officers found a marijuana grow operation inside and seized over 10 kgs of pot and numerous other items used in production.
Constable Jocelyn Noseworthy says the location was particularly concerning because of it’s proximity to the school.
No charges have been laid yet as the investigation continues.
