“Residents are asked to be extra cautious if there are on a river with motorized boats,” says Utility Services Manager Greg Wightman. “Idling speeds are recommended as a precautionary measure and to prevent bank erosion. Additionally, high waters have caused excess debris requiring extra vigilance for all water users.”

The boat launches have been closed since May 24.
