KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops and the Kamloops Innovation Centre have teamed up in a new pilot project.

Three city Information Technology emloyees will continue to perform their regular duties over the term of the three month trial while also testing mobile workforce solutions, such as video conferencing with their team at City Hall, and participating in a knowledge exchange with the tenants at the Innovation Centre.

Business Analysis Services Manager Jeff Burton calls the setup “a win-win.”

“It’s an opportunity to share expertise; it gives our city employees a chance to learn about the different tech companies and ideas in the community and allows us to share corporate practices.”
