Local grandparents celebrate $1 million jackpot win

KAMLOOPS — It will be a very happy holiday season for a Kamloops couple.

Rod and Anne Plesko matched all seven numbers to win a $1 million Lotto Max Maxmillions draw from Nov. 30.

In a news release, BC Lottery Corporation says Rod Plesko was checking his tickets at Save-On Foods earlier this week when he found out he had won.

He says he went to a second location to confirm it before going home to tell Anne.
