LANA DEL REY RELEASES ‘MARINERS APARTMENT COMPLEX’: Lana Del Rey has released a new song called “Mariners Apartment Complex,” which she recorded with Jack Antonoff. Del Rey and Antonoff started teasing that they’re working together over the summer. The two are currently in the studio recording Del Rey’s next album, due out in 2019.

BTS PERFORMS ‘IDOL’ ON ‘AMERICA’S GOT TALENT’: The massively popular K-Pop boy band BTS performed “Idol” on America’s Got Talent on Wednesday night. The boys recently released their latest studio album, Love Yourself: Answer, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. The album marked BTS’s best week yet, and also the biggest week ever for a K-Pop release on the Billboard 200. Plus, it was the third-largest week for a pop album in 2018.

LADY GAGA ASKS FANS TO ‘JOIN HANDS IN MEMORY OF THOSE LIVES THAT WERE LOST’ ON 9/11: Lady Gaga marked the 17th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks on New York City by urging fans and followers to join hands and remember those who lost their lives. The New York native tweeted, “I will never forget that day as long as I live. It reminds me in moments like these, as I reflect, the importance of kindness and love in this world.” The singer then suggested her followers honor the lives that were lost on that day and closed the tweet out with #NeverForget.

SIA TEAMS UP WITH DOLLY PARTON FOR DUET ON ‘DUMPLIN” SOUNDTRACK: Sia has teamed up with country icon Dolly Parton for the soundtrack of a new Netflix film, Dumplin’. The two duet on “Here I Am,” the debut track off the upcoming album. The song was written by Dolly and originally featured on her Coat of Many Colors album in 1971. Sia contributes her vocals to a reimagined, new recording of the song, which will became available for download early this morning. In addition to “Here I Am,” Dolly also contributed six new original compositions to the soundtrack, which she co-wrote with Linda Perry. Other featured artists include Miranda Lambert, Mavis Staples, Elle King, Alison Krauss, Rhonda Vincent, Danielle McDonald and actress Jennifer Aniston. The movie, due out later this year, tells the story of a plus-sized teenager who signs up for a beauty pageant and stars Danielle Macdonald and Jennifer Aniston. The soundtrack comes out November 30th.
