Fraser-Nicola NDP set date to pick candidate

MERRITT, B.C. — BC NDP members in the riding of Fraser-Nicola finally know when they will pick their candidate.
A selection meeting has been set for March 18.
The race is expected to be hotly contested.
Longtime Merritt-area MLA Harry Lali made his intention to seek the nomination public last May.
In December, Lali was joined in the race by Lower Nicola Indian Band Chief Aaron Sam.
The riding is currently represented by Liberal Jackie Tegart.
