Police say cause of Saturday crash on Overlanders Bridge still unknown

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP still can’t say what exactly caused a crash that shut down the Overlanders Bridge for almost three hours on Saturday.

The crash between a car and motorcycle happened on the south end of the bridge at the dinner time hour on Saturday and left the motorcyclist with serious injuries.

There’s been no update on the condition of the motorcyclist, or whether they’ve been released from hospital. The bridge didn’t re-open until 8 p.m.
