Blazers wrap up pre-season with best record in B.C. Division

PRINCE GEORGE — Rookie Josh Pillar scored a short side and upstairs in overtime as the Blazers concluded the WHL pre-season with a 4-3 OT win in Prince George.
Luke Zazula, Quinn Schmiemann and Connor Zary also scored in the penalty-filled game.
The Blazers were 1/10 on the PP as the Cougars made a parade to the penalty box in the first two periods. The Blazer PK killed of 4/5.
The Blazers outshot the Cougars 37-24. Goaltenders Rayce Ramsay and Dylan Garand split the duties in goal to get a share of the win.
