KTTA: New Grade 10 curriculum ‘absolutely’ beneficial for kids
KAMLOOPS — A big change for Grade 10 students province-wide, including in Kamloops, this year.
The province has officially launched its new curriculum for Grade 10 students, something it says will be both more innovative and flexible, and help better prepare kids for college, university and the workforce.
According to the Ministry of Education, the curriculum will offer more personalized learning opportunities and focus on hands-on learning and help build critical thinking and communication skills.
The change has the endorsement of Kamloops-Thompson Teachers’ Association President Amanda Jensen.
