Kamloops RCMP investigating homicide

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP say they are currently investigating a homicide. 

This comes after a heavy police presence was witnessed both in the Lac Du Bois grasslands and at a home on Popp St. over the long weekend. 

Sgt. Darren Michels says those locations are related to the investigation. 

“This investigation is unfolding and to protect the integrity of the investigation no further details are going to be released at this time,” Michels said. “But, I want to let the general public know that they are not in danger as a result of our investigation.”
