Blazers snuffed out in Everett

EVERETT — Riley Sutter scored twice and Dustin Wolf made 18 saves as the Silvertips handed Kamloops its seventh loss in a row.

    Dawson Butt, Connor Dewar, Ian Walker, Sahvan Khaira and Wyatte Wylie also scored for Everett (5-3-0).

    Joonas Sillanpaa and Martin Lang scored for the Blazers (2-6-1). Dylan Ferguson allowed five goals on 40 shots in 34:51 to take the loss. Kamloops winger Ryley Appelt was given a game misconduct for checking to the head in the second.

Next up for the Blazers is the Mark Recchi Hall of Fame game this Friday against Swift Current.
