Iconic CF-5 makes its move at Kamloops Airport

KAMLOOPS — An iconic landmark at the Kamloops Airport has made one more landing.

The 419 Squadron CF-5 has moved from a spot beside the terminal building into the centre of the traffic circle at the entrance to the terminal area.

Airport Manager Heather McCarley says some landscaping work will be done around the CF-5 before a rededication ceremony that will be planned in conjunction with the airport’s 80th anniversary in 2019.
