Lenny Kravitz Not Among Victims Of Fatal Florida Plane Crash

Representatives for Lenny Kravitz dismissed rumors that the singer died in a Florida plane crash as “untrue and incorrect.” The Learjet 60, carrying nine people, went down in Cresthaven, Florida on November 1 while traveling from Austin, Texas to the Bahamas. All nine aboard perished, including co-pilot Nathalia Filgueiras. False speculation spread after a female pilot’s since-deleted social media post incorrectly linked Kravitz to the flight. Before crashing, an unidentified pilot reported “light, clear ice” on the aircraft, then began broadcasting a mayday signal as the plane descended between 10,000 and 20,000 feet per minute. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called the crash “cataclysmic,” saying it “looked like a missile going down.” The FAA and NTSB are investigating.
