‘In complete disbelief’: Kamloops man reacts to $500K lottery win

KAMLOOPS — The identity of the first of three Kamloops winners from the Oct. 16 Lotto Max draw has come forward.

The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) said Noah F. was enjoying a Saturday morning coffee at home when he checked his lottery ticket from the night before. They said he was “in complete disbelief” when he learned he had won a $500,000 Extra prize.

Noah checked his ticket on the BCLC mobile app, and then shared the news with his fiancée.

“She was shocked and couldn’t believe it either,” recalled Noah, in a news release. “She rescanned it on my app to make sure too!”
