Jennifer Lawrence Confirms Return To ‘Hunger Games’ Franchise

Jennifer Lawrence has officially confirmed her return as Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming Hunger Games prequel, Sunrise on the Reaping. Speaking on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Lawrence said reuniting with co-stars Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson was “so emotional,” adding that she and Hutcherson “didn’t walk to the bathroom without our arms around each other.” She also revealed Harrelson climbed through her hotel window, joking it “wouldn’t be the same if he listened to boundaries and used a door.” The prequel follows 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy in the 50th Hunger Games, with Joseph Zada and Ralph Fiennes also starring. The film opens November 20.
