KAMLOOPS — RCMP in Coquitlam are asking for help locating a missing 43-year-old woman who is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, and they say she may be heading to the Kamloops area.

Police say Chelcey Hodder was last seen on Oct. 23, and she failed to return back to her facility as required. While they didn’t specify what facility, posts on social media say Hodder left Colony Farm Psychiatric Hospital around 2:30 p.m. last Friday on a one-hour pass.

“[The] Coquitlam RCMP Investigational Support Team has tracked Chelcey to Hope,” Coquitlam RCMP said in a statement. “Based on evidence gathered through the course of the investigation, it is believed Chelcey may still be in the Hope area and/or travelling to the Kamloops area.”

Hodder is described as as white woman, standing approximately five-foot-two, weighing around 90 lbs., with brown/blonde hair and hazel eyes. Police also say she has star tattoo on her right wrist.

She was last seen wearing black pants, black shoes, a black shirt and a black jacket with black fur. At that time, police say Hodder was also wearing a colourful beaded necklace and glasses.

Police say people who spot Hodder should call 911 immediately, while those with information of her whereabouts are asked to call their local police and reference Coquitlam RCMP file number 2026-27834.
