Noah Wyle Named People’s 2026 Sexiest Man Alive

Noah Wyle, star of HBO’s The Pitt, has been named People’s Sexiest Man Alive for 2026. The actor, best known for playing Dr. John Carter on NBC’s ER and his latest hit HBO series The Pitt, said he was stunned by the honor. “I thought that sounded like a prank — just not in a million years did I think that this would be an honor bestowed on me,” Wyle said. The 41-year-old title, launched in 1985 by Mel Gibson, sees Wyle succeed Wicked star Jonathan Bailey. Wyle recently earned back-to-back Emmy Awards for best drama actor in 2025 and 2026, plus a 2026 Golden Globe for his The Pitt role as Dr. Michael “Robby” Robinavitch. Season 3 premieres January 2027.
