KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking the public to help out a Lower Mainland family in a desperate search for a missing man.

Jadyn Adamson, 32, is believed to have travelled from his home in Surrey to the Ashcroft/Kamloops area about one month ago. His family has also travelled to Kamloops, last seeing him around Riverside Park on Sept. 18. Family members last had contact with him on Sept. 24. A missing persons report was filed on Saturday (Oct. 10).

Description:

  • White man
  • Short brown hair
  • Green eyes
  • Sometimes goes by the name “Hiru”

Adamson’s family is concerned for his safety and well-being, saying he has lost a significant amount of weight and may be experiencing health challenges.

In addition to Riverside Park, Adamson typically spends time near London Drugs on Lansdowne Street or the TNRD Library at Fifth Avenue and Victoria Street. He may also be spending time at local shelters. RCMP say he could be without a phone or personal belongings.

“We understand the concern and distress that families experience when a loved one goes missing,” said Staff Sgt. Andy Lot. “We are asking residents, particularly those who frequent the downtown area, parks and local shelters, to keep an eye out for Jadyn. Our priority is to locate him and confirm his safety and well-being.”

If you have seen Jadyn “Hiru” Adamson or have any information about his location, you are asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at (250) 828-3000.
