TRU WolfPack have mixed results against UNBC Timberwolves

KAMLOOPS — TRU Wolfpack soccer teams had mixed results against the UNBC Timberwolves at Hillside Stadium in Kamloops Saturday night (Oct. 10).

The women’s team rallied after Friday’s loss, as midfielder Macyn Jolly scored her first goal for the WolfPack late into the game, earning a 1-0 victory for the orange and black.

“Macyn showed some real character to step up for the penalty. The person that we had setup to take the penalty had already come off the field, so she just took it upon herself and credit to her because she slotted it away,” said head coach Mark Pennington.

With the win, the women’s team improves to a 6-1-3 record.
