March 28, 1976 – September 21, 2026 

Folashade passed away suddenly on September 21, 2026, in Kamloops, B.C. She will be lovingly remembered by friends and family. 

With hearts weighed down by sorrow yet filled with gratitude for a life so beautifully lived. We remember and honor our beloved Dr. Folashade Hauwa Pearce — a woman whose warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was caring and loving, a source of strength and comfort, and a precious presence whose memory will remain forever etched in our hearts. Though her passing leaves a void that words cannot fully express, the love she shared and the lives she touched will continue to speak for her. She is lovingly remembered by her devoted spouse, cherished children, beloved mother, siblings, family, friends, and all whose lives were made brighter by her presence. May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace. 

A visitation will be held at Schoening Funeral Service on Friday, October 16, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for those wishing to pay their respects. 

A funeral service will be held at Gateway City Church on Saturday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. followed by interment at Hillside Cemetery. 

Friends and family are welcome to gather for refreshments at Schoening Funeral Service following the graveside service.
