Infrastructure funding remains top priority as Kerslake prepares for first full term as Barriere mayor
BARRIERE, B.C. — The incumbent mayor of Barriere is preparing to continue in his current role after he was acclaimed to his first full four-year term in office.
Rob Kerslake was the only candidate to seek the mayor’s seat in this month’s election and he told CFJC Today he’s excited to continue serving the community he’s called home for most of his life.
“It feels good,” Kerslake said of his acclamation to office. “I guess that points to us doin something things right around here. We’ve been doing a good job of creating efficiencies within the municipality and we’re always going to keep working on that.”
