The WolfPack would have the memory of a goldfish to start the second half though. TRU scored two goals in four minutes – a first from Valleyview Secondary alumnus and first-year midfielder Aiden Muzio in the 50th and the second of the season from third-year forward Lachlan Will in the 54th – to take a 4-2 lead.

TRU only surrendered one shot on target in the second half en route to the 4-2 win. 

“One of the things we talked about before the game was that our guys that can put the ball in the back of the net needed to shoot more and create more opportunities and they did that which is great,” John Antulov, WolfPack men’s head coach states. “We needed that win just to get us back on track, to end the trip on a positive note.” 

The WolfPack men’s soccer team improve their record to five wins, three losses and zero draws in eight matches. They remain in second place in the Canada West Pacific Conference standings, trailing the 7-0-2 University of British Columbia (UBC) Thunderbirds. Five of the WolfPack’s final seven matches of the 2026 season are at home. 

On the women’s side, the WolfPack remain unbeaten in the 2026 Canada West season. 

Fourth-year forward Kat Stewart scored her first goal of the season 30 seconds in as the WolfPack women’s soccer team settled for a 1-1 draw with the University of Victoria Vikes on Friday (Sept. 25). 

On Saturday (Sept. 26), the WolfPack defeated the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) Cascades at home 1-0. First-year forward Hannah Saxon scored her second goal of the season while second-year goalkeeper Floor Ursem made four saves for the clean sheet, the WolfPack program-record eighth of her career. 

The WolfPack women’s soccer team improve their record to three wins, zero losses and three draws in 2026, good for 12 points in six matches. TRU sits third in the Canada West Pacific Conference standings, trailing the 4-2-2 Trinity Western University (TWU) Spartans for second and the 8-0-0 UBC Thunderbirds for first. 

Looking ahead to the weekend, the WolfPack men’s soccer team welcomes the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns to Hillside Stadium Saturday (Oct. 3) at 5:30 p.m. 

The WolfPack women’s soccer team is in Langley Saturday to take on the TWU Spartans. TRU returns home Sunday (Oct. 4) to host the UFV Cascades at Hillside Stadium at 5:30 p.m.
