KFR investigating overnight fire at Lower Sahali restaurant

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops Fire Rescue (KFR) is investigating the cause of a fire at a restaurant in Lower Sahali. 

KFR crews responded to the Wendy’s location on the 900-block of Columbia Street West in the overnight hours between Wednesday (Sept. 23) and Thursday. 

KFR Platoon Chief Norm Little says crews knocked down the fire quickly. It was primarily on the exterior of the building and didn’t spread into the interior. Crews were on scene for nearly two hours, and no injuries were reported.
