United Way B.C. launches fall campaign with Kamloops community breakfast, focus on youth
KAMLOOPS, B.C. — A breakfast buffet was on display Thursday (Sept. 17) at Thompson Rivers University. More notably, so was building a better future for local youth.
United Way B.C. brought its supporters together, kicking off their annual campaign event with youth-focused conversations, simultaneously celebrating last year’s generosity.
“This morning is our annual campaign kickoff breakfast, where we invite all our donors and some of our community partners to gather and celebrate the generosity of community – the donations that came in last year’s campaign,” Kristi Rintoul, senior director of community impact and investment portfolio with United Way B.C., told CFJC Today Thursday morning.
