Decades after his first run, business owner Reeb takes another shot at Kamloops council

KAMLOOPS — Robin Reeb has operated a local business in Kamloops for more than 40 years. It’s that experience that he feels make him a candidate for one of eight seats at city hall.
Reeb actually ran back in the early 1980s for alderman, falling short. He now takes his second shot at Kamloops council, noting his main priority comes down to the financial position of the city.
“What I offer is common sense. To run a business in this town and survive, you have to listen to the people and you have to have common sense,” said Reeb. “You can’t spend money you don’t have. ‘Oh, let’s have an arts centre. Oh, we don’t have enough money, we’re just going to raise the taxes again. That’s a great idea. That will pay for it.’ Well, they should use a little more common sense.”
