Blazers announce signing of 15-year old forward Gaudet
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops Blazers have signed another young forward to a WHL Scholarship and Development agreement, as they continue to build for the future.
Nixon Gaudet, a second-round selection of the Blazers in the 2026 WHL Prospects Draft, has put pen to paper, following the conclusion of this year’s training camp.
A native of Ile-des-Chenes, Manitoba, Gaudet stands five-foot-eight and weighs 140lbs. He spent last season with the Eastman Selects U15 team, and put up 80 points (53 goals and 27 assists) in 32 games.
“We would like to congratulate Nixon and his family on signing with the Kamloops Blazers,” Blazers head coach and general manager Shaun Clouston said in a statement. “We are excited to be a part of Nixon’s development in the coming seasons.”
