Election field rounding out with one week remaining for nominations

KAMLOOPS — Only one work week remains for interested parties to submit their nomination package to Kamloops City Hall to ensure they are on the ballot for the October 17 civic election.

All nomination packages must be returned to city hall by the end of the business day on Friday, September 11.

Four candidates are expected to contest the mayors chair in Kamloops, but with one week remaining just three have submitted their paperwork. Incumbent Mayor Reid Hamer-Jackson has not yet completed the nomination package.
