Kacey Musgraves handled an unexpected moment with humor during her Boston concert when part of her stage set caught fire mid-performance. Rather than panic, she addressed the crowd directly: “Uhm, that looks bad. Genuinely, something is on fire. I have way too much hair spray to be standing under that sh-t… It seems fine, right? Does anyone have a bedazzled fire extinguisher somewhere? Anyway, here’s ‘Wonderwall’.” Musgraves continued playing without interruption as the minor blaze burned slowly above her. The incident occurred during her “Middle of Nowhere” tour, named after her latest album. Following Boston, Musgraves heads to New York for two Madison Square Garden shows before continuing her U.S. run through October 27th.
