A federal judge has awarded Blake Lively approximately $407,000 in attorneys’ fees and court costs in her legal dispute with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni — far less than the $8 million she requested. Judge Lewis Liman awarded $363,000 in fees and $44,000 in costs, finding the number of hours billed “unreasonable.” Lively and Baldoni settled their 18-month legal battle in May. Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman called the ruling “a significant victory,” noting Lively received only 5% of her request. Lively’s attorneys countered the outcome proves “there are real consequences of bringing retaliatory lawsuits.” Lively had originally filed a civil rights complaint in December 2024, alleging Baldoni orchestrated an online smear campaign against her following sexual harassment complaints on set.
