Pair of theft suspects reportedly leave Valleyview store with $1,600 in groceries

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in identifying a pair of suspects who reportedly stole hundreds of dollars in groceries from a store in Valleyview last month. 

At around 10:30 a.m. on July 12, RCMP say two suspects distracted a cashier in the 2100-block of Trans-Canada Highway East and reportedly stole nearly $1,600 in groceries. 

“In order to advance the investigation, we are releasing an image of the two alleged suspects to the public with the hope of making an identification,” Cpl. Dana Napier states in a news release issued Sunday (Aug. 23). “The woman is described as having dark hair, glasses and wearing a red shirt, while the man was wearing a blue ball cap, plaid shirt and jeans.”
