Holiday celebrations begin this weekend in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — It may still be a month until Christmas, but there will be plenty of events to get you in the holiday spirit this weekend.

The downtown Kamloops Santa Claus parade will take place tomorrow morning — a favourite among Kamloops residents. 

“That is a community favourite, that event would not happen without the tremendous support of our community and we’re always looking forward to seeing the community come together for that it’s really impressive how many folks show up year after year to enjoy the celebrations,” says Ali Webster with the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association.

The event begins at 10:30 a.m. with Wake Up Santa at Kamloops Square on Seymour Street. The parade starts at 11:00 a.m. and you can get photos with Santa afterwards in Lansdowne Village.
