Three people arrested, duffel bag full of weapons found after attempted break-in near Lac la Hache

LAC LA HACHE, B.C. — A trio of suspects were arrested after a reported break-in to a business near Lac la Hache. 

On Aug. 11, 100 Mile House RCMP say they responded to the 4000-block of Highway 97 near Lac la Hache where two men and a woman were attempting to hide, but ultimately found, on the gated and locked property. 

In a news release issued Wednesday (Aug. 19), RCMP say all three individuals were arrested for break and enter. A duffel bag found on the property contained two shotguns, bear spray and an edged weapon. 

Police believe a fourth individual was also involved. A vehicle, described as a pickup truck with a headache rack, was reportedly seen dropping off the three suspects involved.
