Neustaeter announces run for second term at Kamloops city hall
KAMLOOPS – City Councillor Katie Neustaeter has announced her bid for Kamloops City Council. Neustaeter seeks re-election after becoming a first-time city councillor back in 2022. She hopes her hard work shown over four years has paid off and wants to be a part of the future of Kamloops and make it a better place.
“I’m so grateful to be stepping up and putting my name in the ring again,” says Neustaeter, who will be seeking a second term. “My community has asked this of me and I feel there’s so much work to do. I’m tremendously proud of what I’ve accomplished in this term, of what our council has accomplished as we move Kamloops forward, but there’s plenty more work.”
Neustaeter says she will be running on three different platform pillars, including local leadership and accountable advocacy, but also believes that issues change and councillors should be aware there will be multiple challenges that materialize.
