Longtime advocate Patel ‘excited’ RIH coronary care unit will reopen next year
KAMLOOPS — Royal Inland Hospital is set to revamp its coronary care services for the first time in years.
Interior Health announced Thursday (August 6) four coronary care beds will be open within the hospital’s intensive care unit early next year, improving access to specialized cardiac care for patients that are across the Thompson, Cariboo and Shuswap.
Interior Health says the four beds will provide continuous monitoring and treatment for patients with serious heart conditions.
