Dugdale throws complete game shutout as NorthPaws beat Riverhawks 7-0, win series

KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws could be ending their season on a positive note as they’ve now won three straight series. 

Kamloops’ collegiate summer baseball club took two of three home games against the Edmonton Riverhawks this week. 

After splitting the first two games, a 9-1 win on Tuesday (July 29) and 7-6 loss on Wednesday, the NorthPaws shut out the Riverhawks on Thursday 7-0. 

Starting pitcher Evan Dugdale went the distance for Kamloops, throwing the first complete game shutout in NorthPaws history. The right-handed pitcher only allowed four hits and one walk and struck out five batters over nine innings.
