Police looking into near-miss near Paul Lake

PAUL LAKE, B.C. — Tk’emlúps Rural RCMP would like your help solving a near-miss on the roads in the Paul Lake area.

The incident happened on July 18, near the Paul Lake transfer station in the 1900-block of Pinantan-Pritchard Road. Dashcam footage shows a black Mazda passing three consecutive cars, nearly colliding with an oncoming vehicle.

“The video shows a black vehicle, passing three vehicles in a row and narrowly missing oncoming traffic,” said spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier “Investigators are hoping that others on the roadway that may have been passed or observed this vehicle may be able to provide the licence plate.”
