WATCH: Kamloops firefighters rescue young deer from swimming pool

KAMLOOPS — When the heat gets intense in a Kamloops summer, everyone needs to cool off from time to time.

That includes members of the animal kingdom.

Kamloops Fire Rescue was called to help out a young fawn having trouble exiting a backyard swimming pool.

The doe was able to swim to the edge of the water, allowing a firefighter to pull the animal to safety.
