Seventh annual Kamloops Buskers Festival to take over Riverside Park this weekend
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops International Buskers Festival gets underway Friday (July 24) evening, and organizers are promising another extraordinary lineup of internationally acclaimed street performers.
The seventh edition of the three-day festival is set to take over Riverside Park until Sunday, and it’ll feature street performers from around the world.
“There is nothing like the buskers festival anywhere else in Kamloops or in B.C.,” event coordinator Lucas Sweet told CFJC Today. “We have six performers who will be rotating through the three stages throughout the weekend. Each of them will be doing seven performances, so if you miss them on Friday, don’t worry you’ll get to see them again on Saturday or Sunday.”
