150 properties to temporarily lose water Thursday night for Tranquille Phase 3 sewer project

KAMLOOPS — An overnight water shutoff for certain residents near the Tranqulle Phase 3 project has been rescheduled and is now planned for Thursday night (July 23) into Friday.

The City of Kamloops says it had originally planned the shutoff to take place Tuesday, but it was rescheduled based on the extreme heat.

Starting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, about 150 properties along Tranquille Road between Townsend Place and McGillivray Street will lose access to water. The city expects to have service restored by 6:00 a.m. Friday and says it will notify affected properties about the situation directly.
