Williams Lake RCMP seeking missing woman

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — Williams Lake RCMP are asking for help from the public in their search for a missing 46-year-old woman.

Police officials said Carrie Lynn Zowty was last seen on July 11. She is known to go go camping frequently, but she did not return home on time and her family is concerned for her wellbeing.

Zowty is described as a 100-pound woman who stands 5’2″ tall, with brown hair and green eyes.

Police believe she may be driving a white 2001 Nissan Frontier with B.C. licence plate WR6236.
