“Our elections wouldn’t be possible without the dedicated election officials we’re so fortunate to work with every four years.”

Polling stations will be open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on voting day, with election officials being trained the morning before polls open.

However, presiding election officials and alternate presiding election officials will need to attend a separate training session on an evening leading up to voting day.

“Election officials will receive a stipend for their work, which will be paid after general voting day,” said the City.

Kamloops is also looking for people to serve as election officials on advance voting days from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, Saturday, October 10 and Wednesday, October 14.
