Ariana Grande Exits ‘American Horror Story’ Due To Tour Scheduling Conflict

Ariana Grande has dropped out of American Horror Story Season 13, citing scheduling conflicts with her “Eternal Sunshine” concert tour. Her exit comes just shortly after FX unveiled the season’s cast, which also includes returning stars Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, and Gabourey Sidibe. The role would have marked Grande’s franchise debut and a reunion with creator Ryan Murphy. In a November interview, Grande hinted at a minor role, saying, “I’ll probably have a very tiny thing to do in it, but I’ll be grateful to be a part of it because I love everyone in it.” Season 13 premieres September 24th.
