The vehicle traveled at 45 miles per hour while Spears arched her back atop the Mercedes for roughly two minutes before the car pulled into a gas station. On Instagram, Spears dismissed the coverage, writing: “Nothing is what it seems.” A source told the Daily Mail she simply wanted to see ahead in stopped traffic. The incident follows a May report of erratic behavior involving a knife at dinner, which her rep called “completely blown out of proportion.” In April, Spears pleaded guilty to a wet reckless misdemeanor after a March DUI arrest, agreeing to 12 months probation and mandatory counseling.
