Amber Alert cancelled in Alberta, B.C. for boy who remains missing
GRANDE PRAIRIE — RCMP in Alberta and British Columbia have cancelled Amber Alerts in those provinces for a six-year-old boy, but the child remains missing.
Alberta RCMP said late Friday afternoon that they were cancelling their alert but continuing to investigate the abduction of Lanakai Morrison.
The boy was taken Tuesday from the hamlet of Valhalla Centre, roughly 63 kilometres northwest of Grande Prairie, Alta., near the B.C. boundary.
It’s believed the child is with his mother, 35-year-old Krista Morrison; her partner, 35-year-old Daniel Ludwig; and four-year-old Karl Morrison.
