ABC’s Nashville’s Star-Spangled Bash drew an average of 5.4 million viewers on Saturday, making it the most-watched primetime program this July 4th. It marked the first time in 16 years that any network surpassed NBC’s Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, which averaged 4.9 million viewers. Disney+ is developing a television adaptation of Stuart Gibbs’ Spy School book series. The series includes 14 books, beginning in 2012 and continuing with the next scheduled for release in October 2026. The story follows teenager Ben Ripley, who discovers his science-focused school is actually a CIA training academy. Gibbs’ novels have sold more than 12 million copies. Story URL
Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, are expected to travel to the United Kingdom later this wee. Prince Harry, 41, had arrived in London solo on July 6 after security concerns kept his family away. The visit will mark the full Sussex family’s first U.K. trip in four years.
