Jennifer Beals was cast as a series regular in NCIS: New York, joining Jacqueline Byers, Shane Harper and Devin Druid. They will appear alongside LL Cool J, who returns as Special Agent Sam Hanna, and Scott Caan as Special Agent Nick Schaeffer. Filming begins later this month in New York. Uwe Boll is responding to reports that actor Armie Hammer was unhappy with their new film, Citizen Vigilante, saying Hammer “was perfect for the part” and “delivered every day on set.” Reports say Hammer was upset after seeing the finished film, in which he plays a man targeting immigrants, calling it “hateful” and “disgusting.” It’s only available VOD. Chelsea Handler has signed a deal to launch the Dear Chelsea Podcast Network. The partnership begins July 15th with the debut of the comedy podcast You’re the Problem … with Yamaneika. Raven-Symoné announced she is returning for a new Cheetah Girls movie titled The Cheetah Girls: Next Gen. She shared the update on Instagram, saying she was already on set.
