MGM+ has approved a two-hour series finale for Godfather Of Harlem, starring and produced by Forest Whitaker. According to MGM+, “Bumpy Johnson faces the ultimate reckoning as the walls close in around his empire.” The finale will complete Bumpy’s journey from Harlem’s streets to a powerful legacy. Christine Marinoni, wife of actor Cynthia Nixon, has joined New York City’s Department Of Education as chief of mass engagement for the Family & Community Empowerment division. Joby Baker, an actor, nightclub performer, and painter best known for starring in the CBS sitcom Good Morning World, has died at 92. Born in Montreal on March 26, 1934, he survived the Pearl Harbor attack as a child and appeared in films with Paul Muni, Elvis Presley, Connie Francis, and Jack Lemmon. After two months in theaters, it has earned $403 million—$245 million domestically and $157 million internationally.
