NorthPaws win Canada Day battle, drop three-game series against Falcons
KAMLOOPS — The Kamloops NorthPaws dropped their three-game home-and-home-and-home series with the Kelowna Falcons.
The NorthPaws were blown out by the Falcons on the road 19-7 Thursday (July 2) to close out the three-game set. It comes after dropping the first game in Kelowna on Tuesday 11-6. Overall, the NorthPaws are 0-4 in Kelowna in the 2026 West Coast League (WCL) season.
However, the NorthPaws were able to save their wins for the home crowd. Evan Dugdale and Michael Velardez drove in six runs as the NorthPaws hung on to defeat the Falcons 11-8 during a Canada Day clash at Norbrock Stadium Wednesday.
The NorthPaws are 11-16 on the 2026 WCL season, second last in the North Division.
